What to expect after my treatment

Every body reacts differently to bodywork depending on many factors like previous physical activity, hormone levels, hydration etc. It is very important to get lots of water after a treatment to flush the naturally produced chemicals that are released during the process. Sometimes people are quite tired after a treatment and require rest. Hard workouts are not recommended but gentle muscle activation movements and stretches are helpful. Some areas may be sore or stiff for a couple of days, this is common, especially with deep tissue work, but after day two, you should feel much better than you did before the treatment. People rarely bruise, but that can happen. Sometimes unexpected emotions can arise during or after a treatment; the body reacts to what we think and feel. It’s important to breathe deeply often, allowing yourself to relax and let go.
