Sports Massage

Sports massage aids in recovery and prevention of injuries. Each sport uses the body differently and creates specific patterns of stress. We work to release tension and optimize performance. A variety of techniques are used, usually a blend of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy and/ or visceral manipulation (depending on the therapist) and what is required at the time. Modalities and pressure are customized to meet individual needs depending on training status (whether pre, post or interim event) injury status and general health.
